Kathryn Gordon and Anne E. McBride met when they worked together a few years ago at The Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) in NYC. They began their delicious collaboration on this book in 2010.
Kathryn first started to bake French-style macarons professionally when she moved to New York from Washington, D.C. over 15 years ago. She currently teaches over 300 students a year how to make sweet and savory macarons.
Anne was raised in Switzerland and is half Swiss, half French, and has been eating the delicious Parisian-style macarons all her life!
